Alina & Anda’s Shelter
For people discovering our mission, it is important to understand the history of the Alina and Anda shelter. Facing the barbarity of an euthanasia law in Romania in 2013, they dedicated their lives to saving stray dogs. After several twists and turns and the loss of two shelters, they were able, thanks to the help of donors and associations, to acquire the land in Sintesti, where the fight for the protection of these animals continues.
The Rescues
Faced with the brutality of Romanian streets, Alina and Anda mobilize tirelessly to save dogs in pitiful condition. They retrieve them injured, sick, and sometimes on the brink of agony, bearing witness to the violence suffered and the extreme living conditions. Thanks to their dedicated care and unconditional love, these broken animals gradually regain hope and dignity.

Alina and Anda’s shelter operates solely thanks to donations, as every euro is directly invested in the food and care of their residents. They do not charge any adoption fees, which is why we urgently need your help to face the daily rescues. Every donation helps to improve their living conditions and offer them a future.

On our website “Refuge d’Alina et Anda Officiel France” (Alina and Anda’s Official Shelter France), you will discover the shelter located in Sintești, 10 km from Bucharest, as well as an overview of our more than 400 rescued animals: over 350 dogs, 30 cats, and even 2 donkeys, all saved from critical situations.
